North East Accountants Needed To Help Businesses Take Preventive Measures

North East Company Hit By Government Defence Review

Gateshead surveillance firm Petards has been hit with a reduced profit as the effect of the governments defence review is starting to hit.

Profits are reported as dropping from £1.1m down to £0.4m, North East accountants have said that the reason behind this is the ‘significant impact on revenues from the Strategic Defence and Security Review and also the Comprehensive Spending Review’

Recent reports released have recommended that business owners revaluate their accounting and book keeping services regularly as they bid to empower their SME.

The North East is a hotbed for new business and it is hoped this will grow when a government funded enterprise zone on Teesside, the venture is hoping to both encourage people to set up businesses in the area and also move their current businesses.

The demand for Teesside tax accountants will increase as a result of this zone, with the possibility of many having to go further afield and look at Newcastle accountants or other North East firms as a result always likely.
